Moments ago, the King of Pop Michael Jackson died. He was one of the most famous pop celebrities at 50 years old. He was in a coma... And well.. it's very tragic.. this is just a small tribute to him. It is so sudden. Barra Fawcett also died. Why couldn't it have been Madonna? Michael Jackson had been planning to start a series of comeback concerts in London and had been rehearsing in the Los Angeles area for the past two months. Promoters of the shows said in March that he had passed a lengthy physical examination. msnbc.com staff and news service reports updated Seven Eight p.m. ET June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson has died at age 50 after being rushed to UCLA Medical Center, NBC News has confirmed. Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Steve Ruda told the L.A. Times that Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home and CPR was performed. TMZ.com reported that he may have suffered cardiac arrest. On June 25, 2009, Jackson reportedly passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest in his home. While en route to the UCLA Medical Center, Jackson apparently stopped breathing. Jackson was originally reported to be in a coma but other sources mentioned that Jackson died.
